After not playing in a week, the Rangers return with the same lineup as in their victory over the Ducks, with the exception of Steve Valiquette being in goal. Henrik Lundqvist gets a breather after an All-Star beatdown. Aaron Voros commits some more third period penalties, but because the Rangers win, he stays in the lineup. Poor Petr Prucha watches from the press box again. Dan Fritsche was placed on waivers, a move that was a long time coming.

The Hurricanes have won two in a row after losing six straight. They are in a tight battle for the final couple of playoff spots in the East. Too bad their are not wearing their awful black jerseys tonight like they did their last trip in. It would be nice to see the Rangers in their whites at home again.
