Gameday: Rangers at Penguins 12:30pm

Rangers 27-15-4, 58 pts
Penguins 22-20-4, 48 pts

Will he play or not play? NBC is holding its breath. Sid the Kid vs King Henrik! The next thing they need is have Valiquette start instead. That won't be the case, but Sidney Crosby is still questionable in NBC's first indoor telecast of the season.

The Rangers complete their 5-game road trip with, as Mike Emrick will say, "this afternoon's tilt". They have 7 points out of a possible 8 thus far and you could say it has been a successful road trip even if they lose in regulation today. They're playing the Penguins; we won't stand for that.

The Penguins are struggling. They come off a win vs Anaheim the other night, a game in which Crosby did not play, but they have not won two in a row since November 15th. They swapped backup goalies yesterday, acquiring Mathieu Garon from Edmonton for Danny Sabourin. It had to be for his shootout prowess- he's 11-0 in the skills competition since last season. You think they timed the deal for this game, having already lost twice to the Rangers in shootouts this season?
