Now that was fun, entertaining, old-time hockey at the Garden. The Rangers came out flying, scored 4 early goals, and ended the night with some good old fashioned butt-kicking that had the crowd on its feet.
Colorado came back to control the play for the second half of the third, but for some reason you just had a feeling this was not going to be the same as that Ovechkin explosion earlier in the season.
Everything went right yesterday, as most teams within reach of the Rangers lost. This will be a battle to make the playoffs. Despite the opponent yesterday, if the Rangers continue to attack like they did yesterday they will in good shape. Can you see another Rangers-Devils first round matchup with Sean Avery in the mix?...
